About the event

Cutting-edge, evidence-based training infused with intrapersonal, interpersonal, trauma-informed skills to support effective relationship and rapport building between clients and financial advisors. This training includes 4 modules, the first being held this June 2021! 

  • Module 1: Compelling Communication Tools (6/28/21 from 5:30-7:30)
  • Module 2: Dealing with Objections from Prospects (TBD)
  • Module 3: Prospecting, procuring more referrals, and improving client retention (TBD)
  • Module 4: Strategies for effective recruiting, training, and retaining good agents to grow your team (TBD)

Empathy in Action, a consulting practice led by mental health professionals, supports financial advising firms to develop and hone a specific set of intrapersonal and interpersonal skills. These skills equip advisors with the ability to build, maintain and maneuver client relationships with ease.

Empathy in Action offers evidence-based, engaging training opportunities about communication strategies, conflict resolution, and trauma-informed practices to support a diverse range of financial advising professionals and their ability to provide excellent services to their clients.

These skills help the financial advisors to:

  • Deal with objections from prospects
  • Easily identify buying cues
  • Increase referrals and client retention
  • Keep focused and poised during challenging situations
  • Develop deeper empathy for and understanding of themselves
  • Develop confidence in the advisor's ability to strategically navigate moments of discomfort.
