
Sascha Owens, B.A.
Sascha Owens believes true health and wellness asks us to be mindful of many aspects- our physical, spiritual, psychological, and social selves. By recognizing humans as dynamic and ever changing beings, she is passionate about supporting individual and groups journey to wellness.
Sascha currently works as a behavioral technician with autistic youth working in the East Bay area of California. She received her B.A. in Sociology from Sonoma State in 2016, where she conducted research tracking perception of safety and belonging in public spaces amongst marginalized groups. She worked as an after-school program coordinator during her undergraduate career, focusing on supporting youth in academic and social emotional skill-building. This included developing individualized learning plans for students who are at risk of not graduating high school. She concurrently ran a cheerleading program with at-risk youth. She spent over 10 years as a nanny/caregiver for children of various ages and abilities. Sascha has a passion for young people and their ability to evolve into their fully actualized self.
You'll always find Sascha singing and dancing. She loves starting her day with motivation and exercise. Spending time with her friends and family and globe trotting (traveling...) are some of her favorite ways to spend her time. If she's not busy with these things, you'll find her relaxing by spending time in nature or cooking a delicious meal.
